Thursday, November 12th, 2009We are very lucky to have the health system we have in Australia. My daughter sprained her ankle last night, so I took her to the Norwood Village Medical & Dental Centre today. Within 15 minutes we had seen a doctor, had an x-ray, seen the doctor again and left. And no bill! (It isn’t always so quick - I have had to wait over an hour previously)
We went and hired some crutches which cost a whole $10 for the week.
I am glad for having done some weight training. It comes in handy for carrying around injured teen-aged kids
