I really love the whole concept of scam baiting. It is good to see people getting revenge on these low-life scammers.

Duncan did some hilarious scam baiting years ago, but I am not sure whether his e-mails are still available on-line.

I remember first hearing about the Nigerian Scam (aka 419 scam) about 10 years ago, just after it started. A few weeks later I went shopping to get something from a landscaping shop. I was waiting for quite a while while the owner talked on the phone. When he came out to serve me, he was all excited and told me (who knows why) that he had been contacted by someone in Nigeria who needed his help to get money out of the country and he was going to get paid a million dollars. I told him all about the scam and how it worked and I could just see him deflate. He is very lucky that he happened to tell me about it because at the time it was not very well known at all. I do hope he took my advice…
