The Prank Files #17

Sunday, March 14th, 2010

When I was at Uni, it was common for students to make paper planes and throw them in the lectures. The planes flew really well because of the slope of the lecture theatres seating (like in a movie theatre). Most lecturers took it well, but there was one who made it very clear that paper planes would not be tolerated. For the final lecture we made a giant paper plane. It was about 5 feet long and made with pieces of A3 paper glued together and a few thin strips of bamboo for a bit of structural support. We entered through the door at the back a few minutes before the end of the lecture and threw it. Before it had even landed, the lecturer stormed out. I think he was about to tell us something important about the upcoming exams, but we never found out what it was :(

When people lend me their USB drive to put a file on I usually create a folder on the drive called “Naked Photos of my Sister” or “Filthy Donkey Porn”. It gets some interesting reactions when they discover it, particularly if it takes a few days for them to notice.

Recently co-worker Ashleigh left us, which was a sad day indeed. He was known, amongst other things, for being a connoisseur of red wine and dark chocolate. He writes for the Chocablog, so he must know his stuff! He does have the misguided opinion that White Chocolate is not real chocolate though. In fact he hates the stuff.

Anyway, for his farewell, I presented him with a bottle of red wine and a couple of chocolate bar shaped wrapped items to go with it. He opened the first and discovered that it was white chocolate. He called me rude names. I told him that the second parcel was the proper present. It was a different sized white chocolate bar. He was not impressed. In fact he “accidentally” left them behind when he left. The odd thing is he remembered to take his wine…

Note that the wording on the wrapper says “real”. This is conclusive proof that white chocolate is “real” chocolate after all ;)
