Trust

I had a bet with my son last night. He didn’t believe me that there was a Greek God/Goddess called Nike. I showed him the Wikipedia page this morning as proof. His comment was “you could have just written that”. Smart kid ! I had to show him random pages from a Google search to convince him.

How could my own son not trust me, and suspect that I would do something as devious as creating a Wikipedia page just to win a bet :( (I must remember that idea for next time…)

All Wikipedia pages have a history tab that shows the list of edits to the page and the user/IP that made the edits. Show him the history of the page, that would prove it wasn’t you.

Did you do a victory dance around the lounge room and given him the necessary taunting etc? :)

    Dunc,.

I guess I should have made the most of this (rare) unequivocal victory !
